Good Data Corporation has analyzed 21 ongoing and scheduled from June 28, 2021, to July 4, 2021. After analyzing netizens’ responses from news articles, blogs, communities, videos, and SNS, the result was released on July 5 by Good Data Corporation.
tvN’s “Hospital Playlist 2” & “Penthouse 3” topped the first and second place for two consecutive weeks.
For two weeks in a row, tvN’s “Hospital Playlist 2” held first place in the most popular Korean drama series. The story of Jung Kyung Ho and Kwak Sun Young couple and the patient’s natural childbirth scene drew the audience’s interest.
SBS’ “Penthouse 3” also remained in second place in the most popular Korean drama for two weeks consecutively. Eugene’s death was a significant plot point in the play, and audiences had different views on whether she still alive or dies.
The third-place earned by tvN’s “Doom At Your Service.” Despite a 4.97 percent drop in popularity from the previous week, it has remained in the top ten for two weeks in a row. However, many netizens expressed their disappointment that pointed out the ending that seemed unlikely.
Further, in fourth place was tvN’s “My Roommate is a Gumiho.” Unfortunately, the drama had to drop to fourth place for the second week in a row, marking its lowest popularity since its premiere.
In addition, the Kang Han-na and Kim Do-wan couple has gotten a lot of attention, and their acting abilities have gotten a lot of praise.
The Devil Judge, a new tvN drama, debuted at number five. The trial scene became a hot issue. However, many audiences thought that there might be more developments in the future.
