The Brand of the Year Awards is an annual ceremony hosted by the Korea Economic Daily and the Korea Consumer Forum. It is organized annually by the Korea Consumer Brand Council to recognize Korean brands for excellence and innovation throughout the year.
The selection process for the “2023 Brand of the Year Awards” winners involved thorough primary research, extensive consumer voting, and expert evaluation. Initially, Korean brands from 16 industries were carefully chosen, including ICT, health, education, shopping, sports, leisure and travel, food, housing and construction, and people & culture.
These nominees then underwent a public consumer vote conducted through online and phone surveys from July 3 to July 16. The voting was prevalent, with an impressive 8,094,773 votes cast in Korea. Now, let’s take a look at the top Korean brands that emerged as winners in the entertainment category.
