Dream High was released in 2011, and it was believed to be a part of a project by JYP Entertainment. The story revolved around a group of students enrolling at Kirin High School of Art, and portrayed their work and struggle to become superstars.
It was the first drama where Taecyeon acting was finally recognized by the public, where he played a role as Jin Gook, a gifted dancer but a troublemaker at his original school. Kirin’s director then asked him to enroll at Kirin, where his talents could eventually improved. Finally, Jin Gook blossomed, becoming a superstar who wanted to level up to be a global star.

Although many viewers expect Taecyeon to be a cool vampire in Heartbeat, but his humorous side is worth our love.
