8th APAN Star Awards 2022: Full List of Nominees, Where to Watch, Date, Venue, and Host
On August 31, the APAN Star Awards Secretariat announced candidates and nominations for each category for dramas aired on terrestrial, full-length, cable, (over the top – online video service), and the web, which aired from March 2021 to July 2022.
This year’s event adds a new category: the OTT (over the top) award. As the era changes and OTT original content significantly increases in the entertainment world, thus the award also pays attention to the original content on OTT platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Season, Apple TV Plus, Watcha, Wave, Coupang Play, TVing, and more.
Date, Venue, Host, and Where to Watch
The 2022 APAN STAR AWARDS ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022. It will take place at 7B Hall, Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) Exhibition Center 2, Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.
Girl’s Generation Yuri and Jung Il Woo will host this year’s APAN Star Awards. The red carpet arrivals will begin at 6 PM KST, while the main event will start at 8 PM. Audiences worldwide will be able to watch 2022 APAN STAR AWARDS ceremony live through online streaming platforms. Follow its official YouTube and Instagram accounts for updates.
