Actor Lee Seung Gi Steps Up and Demands Full Transparent Records of His Fees from Hook Entertainment Agency
On November 18, Sports Chosun reported that Lee Seung Gi had recently sent content certification to his agency, Hook Entertainment. According to the report, the certification of contents contains requests for full and transparent disclosure of his payment.
The report further revealed that the singer-actor suspected there had been discrepancies in his financial matters. Therefore, actor Lee Seung Gi would like his collaborating agency, Hook Entertainment, to display transparent records of their financial report about his activities.
“Lee Seung Gi’s representative seems to have suspicions that there had been problems with the amount of payment he received for his activities.
So, he asked for a transparent financial record (administrative fees, expenses, and balance) related to all his projects and activities through a legal representative.”

Following the insider’s report, Lee Seung Gi’s partner agency, Hook Entertainment, confirmed in an official statement.
Immediately after the report circulated on the internet and social media, Hook Entertainment released an official statement. The agency confirmed actor Lee Seung Gi’s request and stated that they were currently working on reviewing the data.
“We have received a certification of contents from our artist, Lee Seung Gi. And we are currently reviewing related data and preparing a response accordingly.”

That was especially what happened last year when actor Lee Seung Gi was trying to establish his HUMAN MADE agency. Suddenly, dating news about Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In broke the internet. And not only that, it had caused massive commotion among his fans, Airen.
Although Lee Seung Gi recently confirmed the dating news, this commotion caused him to return to Hook Entertainment. Lee Seung Gi formed an exclusive partnership between Hook Entertainment and his HUMAN MADE agency. At the time, both claimed that they formed this partnership based on mutual trust and loyalty.
Nevertheless, due to the dating scandal incident, netizens began to suspect a slight amount of tension in both parties.

Previously on November 17, Korean media reported that Youn Yuh Jung was planning to part ways with Hook Entertainment.
The report also revealed that Youn Yuh Jung had signed a verbal contract with the agency based on long-time trust in the agency. Therefore, instead of using dramatic terms like “termination of contract”, it would be more appropriate to see that Youn Yuh Jung and Hook Entertainment decided to part ways and hope for success for each other.

On the other hand, Hook Entertainment immediately denied the report. They stated that it was not true that Youn Yuh Jung’s contract with the agency was expired. Still, they refused to comment on anything regarding the police raid.
