It is not a secret that many agencies want their artists to look fabulous, beautiful, and have ideal body goals. To fulfill it, many of KPop Girl Groups should implement a strict diet plan and exercise. Some of them even undergo an extreme diet and exercise to get the “ideal” body.
AOA’s Seolhyun is the face of the group as well as the lead dancer, vocalist, and the center of the Ace of Angels group. The girl group is formed by FNC Entertainment. She is 5’6″ (ca. 168 cm) and weighs 47 kg (ca. 103 lbs).

In Knowing Bros “Ask Us Anything” shows, Seolhyun, Kim Shin Young, and Jimin questioned about what kind of foods that they usually order when they are together. They answered that they like to order Pizza, Raw squid, or Soy sauce marinated crab.
Moreover, about the strict diet that KPop Girl Groups must undergo, Seolhyul explained, “Luckily, we (AOA members) don’t have a strict diet.”
Then, Kim Shin Young revealed the Seolhyun diet menu by saying, “I was on a video call with Seolhyun on the other day, and she told me that she was eating deep-fried potatoes because she is on a diet.” Seolhyul approved it by saying, “I do watch my diet.”
Lee Soo-geun, one of the hosts, was a bit surprised and stated that “Deep-fried is not good for the diet.” But Seolhyul insisted that “Squid is good for the diet, I eat deep-fried squid.”
Diet is important, but also workout
Seolhyun revealed her actual diet method when she was asked about the “Seolhyun Diet” by Kim Hee-chul. She replied, “I understand diet is important. But I also work out really hard.”
When asked about what diet foods that she eats, she answered, “deep-fried sweet potato and fried chicken breast.” Uniquely, when she is on a diet, she is looking at her own pictures.
On her social media, just like most of the people now, she often shows her food at mealtime. Another way to keep her on shape is by being wise to what she eats and reducing the food portion.
Seolhyun Diet is About Workout
