“Buried Hearts” Leads April 2025 Korean Drama Brand Reputation Rankings
From March 8 to April 8, 2025, the Korean Business Research Institute extracted 72,118,648 brand big data from 20 popular Korean dramas. Compared to 7,472,607 drama brand big data in March, the number increased by 25.48 percent. Further, they analyzed brand consumers to measure the participation, communication, media, community, and viewership indexes.
As a result, “Buried Hearts,” “The Art of Negotiation,” “Undercover High School,” “Cinderella Game,” and “When Life Gives You Tangerines” dominated the top five Korean dramas for this month.

1. “Buried Hearts”
Park Hyung Sik and Heo Joon Ho’s drama, “Buried Hearts,” has ended on April 4. The last episode reached an average nationwide rating of 13.4 percent, reaching a new personal record. Additionally, it became the most-watched show across all channels that day.
The show maintained its position at number one for the second consecutive month. It achieved a brand reputation index of 8,149,590 this month with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 1,799,422
- Media Index: 2,013,183
- Communication Index: 1,532,114
- Community Index: 1,235,557
- Viewership Index: 1,569,314
In the link analysis, the institute found “breakthrough,” “act passionately,” and “record” to be the terms related to the series. In keyword analysis, they found “Park Hyung Sik,” “Heo Joon Ho,” and “Love Triangle” to be the most popular keywords in the drama. Additionally, the hit series earned a positive score of 92.74 percent in the positivity-negativity ratio analysis.
2. “The Art of Negotiation”
Lee Je Hoon’s office drama “The Art of Negotiation“ portrays the reality of business today, particularly in mergers and acquisitions. It has captivated viewers with its compelling storyline that perfectly balances reality and mystery.
The series ranked second and achieved a brand reputation index of 7,142,091. Here is the breakdown:

- Media Index: 1,450,009
- Communication Index: 1,361,807
- Community Index: 1,691,101

3. “Undercover High School”
MBC’s drama “Undercover High School,“ which concluded its episodes on March 29, fell to third place this month. Despite the drop in ranking, the series perfectly blends action, comedy, romance, and mystery, captivating viewers.
Seo Kang Joon’s comeback drama achieved a brand reputation index of 6,953,880. Here is the breakdown:

4. “Cinderella Game”
