August 2025 Top 50 K-pop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 81,038,147 pieces of K-pop idol group brand big data from July 15 to August 15. The number increased by 13,55 percent from 71,366,509 pieces in July.
To determine the rankings, the institute measured idol group brand indexes through consumer behavior analysis. As a result, K-pop groups BLACKPINK, BTS, IVE, Red Velvet, and SEVENTEEN dominated the August rankings.

1. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK members, who have been on a world tour since July 2025, continue to top the K-pop idol group brand reputation rankings in August 2025. This marks the group’s second month in a row in the top position. They led the rankings with a brand reputation index of 6,943,448, a decrease of 9.91 percent from their July brand reputation index of 7,707,025. The group’s popular terms included “gather,” “breakthrough,” and “collaborate,” while “Jump,” “World Tour,” and “BLINK” became their popular keywords. BLACKPINK earned a positive reaction score of 92.27 percent in positivity-negativity analysis.
2. BTS
In July, BTS made fans excited with a live broadcast of all seven members on Weverse. They also thrilled fans with their long-awaited reunion, new album, and world tour announcement. The group remained in second place this month with a brand reputation index of 7,483,615, falling 17.56 percent from 6,169,542 in July.
3. IVE
IVE made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at Lollapalooza Berlin. The group remained in third place this month. The group’s brand reputation index increased significantly by 35.87 percent, increasing from 3,822,629 in July to 5,193,674 in August.
4. Red Velvet
Red Velvet rose from seventh to fourth place this month. The group’s popularity increased thanks to its members’ recent activities, such as their solo comebacks and world tour announcements. Their brand reputation index saw an impressive 85.86 percent increase from 2,086,430 in July to 3,877,780 in August.
5. SEVENTEEN
Last July, SEVENTEEN announced their upcoming world tour for September. The group’s brand reputation index increased by 14.77 percent, rising from 3,037,148 in July to 3,485,787 in August. With its rising popularity, the group claimed fifth place.
