On January 10 local time, the global music festival Coachella finally confirmed its lineup performance for the upcoming show in 2023. But what is most exciting about the upcoming Coachella 2023 is that it features Kpop girl group BLACKPINK performance as one of its headliners.

The FIRST Kpop Group to Headline Coachella

The skyrocketing trend of the Korean wave has managed to bring Kpop into one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world, Coachella.

Previously, Coachella officially invited EPIK HIGH in 2016 and reinvited the Kpop legend in 2020, even though the performance was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, through 88rising invitations, aespa and 2NE1 also marked their names in their unforgettable Coachella performance in 2022.

At the same time, Kpop legendary girl group BLACKPINK was the first Kpop girl group to obtain an official invitation and showcase their magnificent performance at the Coachella. Today, the legendary Kpop girl group once again marks their name as the FIRST Kpop group who officially made it to the Coachella list of HEADLINE performers!

Along with The Kid Laroi, Charli XCX, Rosalia, and Eric Prydz, Kpop group BLACKPINK will lead the performance as the headliner for Coachella 2nd group 2023. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean will become headliners for the first and third groups, and Calvin Harris will be this year’s special guest.
