On October 15, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed BLACKPINK Jennie, NewJeans Minji, and Hanni as October’s top Kpop girl group members. Let’s explore the top 100 individual Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings, featuring the most popular female Kpop idols in October 2023.

October 2023 Top Individual Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings: 1st BLACKPINK Jennie

The Institute recently released brand reputation rankings, highlighting the brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members in the Kpop industry. These rankings are based on factors like consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness.

Data from 655 girl group members was collected between September 15 and October 15, amassing 97,385,020 brand data points. While there was a slight decrease from last month, the data still provides valuable insights into consumer preferences.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie, NewJeans’ Minji and Hanni, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, and NewJeans’ Haerin emerged as the top performers in the individual brand reputation rankings for girl group members in October 2023. These talented artists have captured the attention and admiration of fans, solidifying their influence within the Kpop industry.

Top 5 Kpop Girl Group Members

1. BLACKPINK Jennie

BLACKPINK’s Jennie achieved remarkable results, securing the top spot in October’s female Kpop idol brand reputation rankings. Jennie earned a customer participation index of 293,052, while her media coverage scored 323,858. Moreover, her communication index scored 1,223,155, while her community index scored 2,700,358. 

As a result, Jennie garnered a brand reputation index of 4,540,423 this month, representing a remarkable growth of 131.95% compared to last September.

Furthermore, Jennie recently released her new single, “You and Me.” In terms of keyword analysis, phrases like “You & Me,” “jazz,” and “Apartment 404” ranked highly, along with related terms such as “release,” “dominate,” and “join.”

2. NewJeans Minji

For October, NewJeans Minji achieved a customer participation index of 907,583 and a media index of 830,675. Additionally, the artist earned a communication index of 491,793 and a community index of 1,480,325. 

Minji, who garnered significant attention at Seoul Fashion Week, The Fact Music Awards, and Chuseok photoshoot due to her stunning look and charisma, achieved a brand reputation index of 3,710,377 this month. Compared to last September’s brand reputation index of 4,773,341, this represents a decrease of 22.27%.

3. NewJeans Hanni

This month, NewJeans Hanni achieved a customer participation index of 771,003 and a media index of 706,550. Additionally, she earned a communication index of 486,505 and a community index of 1,001,371. 

Hanni, who stunned everyone with her dramatic blonde transformation at Gucci’s Milan Fashion Week Show, achieved a brand reputation index of 2,965,429 this month. However, this represents a decrease of 29.20% compared to last September’s brand reputation index of 4,188,577.

4. BLACKPINK Rosé

BLACKPINK’s Rosé garnered a customer participation index of 166,049 and a media index of 385,287. In addition, the singer achieved a communication index of 983,292 and a community index of 1,165,158. 

As a result, Rosé, who is rumored to be the only one renewing her contract with the label, achieved a brand reputation index of 2,699,786 this month. This amount represents a 43.27% increase compared to last September’s brand reputation index of 1,884,464.

5. NewJeans Haerin

Haerin from NewJeans garnered a brand participation index of 591,676 and a media index of 544,566 this month. Additionally, she achieved a communication index of 371,356 and a community index of 1,093,098. 

As a result, Haerin, known for her stunning feline-like visual, achieved a brand reputation index of 2,600,696. Unfortunately, this represents a decrease of 28.11% compared to last September’s brand reputation index of 3,617,382.
