Back in December 2019, YG Entertainment Inc. was filing two trademarks of Blackpink Lisa fashion lines “Manobal Lalisa” and “Manobal” under the Clothing category. Now, these trademarks have active starting in January 2020.
YG owns s49 trademarks with different categories. Some of them using idols names such as G-Dragon, Seungri, PSY, Gangnam Style, Daesung, GD, Taeyang, iKON, and more. For more details, you can check on this website https://trademarks.justia.com/
“Manobal Lalisa” and “Manobal”
Surprisingly, YG filed the trademarks with Blackpink Lisa’s misspelled surname. Her real name in Thai is Pranpriya Manoban or Lalisa Manoban. There is a mistake in the spelling of her surname MANOBAN. Which she explained why her real name is different in her ID card.
So, instead of having BAL, the correct spelling is using BAN in MANOBAN.

YG Entertainment has just registered “Lalisa Manobal” and “Manobal” as trademarks, named after BLACKPINK’s Lisa.— The Pop Hub (@ThePopHub) February 9, 2020
Remarkably, the agency used the idol’s legal name instead of her stage name. pic.twitter.com/xuERI4ThKe
The plot twist, who would have thought lisa emerges as this big fashion icon to point of releasing her own fashion line🥺😭 I’m fckng proud of my lisa, the devil works hard but lalisa works harder, they can’t hide her now!
