Furthermore, BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim successfully made her acting debut in 2023. Starring in HBO’s original series “The Idol,” the “Mantra” singer showcased her acting skills under her stage name, Jennie Ruby Jane.She successfully gained massive attention by portraying the character of Dyanne, a backup dancer with pop star ambitions. From her first acting role, the idol-actress won ‘Best Actress’ at the SEC Awards 2024.
Now, Lisa, who recently won 2 awards at the 2024 MTV EMAs for her solo music, becomes the next BLACKPINK member who is set to be a rookie actress in an HBO show. Under her real name, Lalisa Manoban, the Thai idol will make her acting debut in the upcoming new season of “The White Lotus.” According to IMDb, actress Lisa will appear in one episode. In addition, besides Lisa, the series will also feature other Thai actors like Dom Hetrakul, Lek Patravadi, and Tayme Thapthimthong.
After controversy surrounding its first teaser, the series released its second teaser on November 11. The second teaser of “The White Lotus” features some of the cast’s first looks, including Lisa. Season 3 of “The White Lotus” takes place in Thailand, which is Lisa’s home country.

In her first look, Lisa appears as a staff member at the White Lotus resort. With a short-sleeved uniform and a name tag that reads “Mook,” she smiles brightly and welcomes the guests, saying,
