A music lyric database site, MatchLyric, uploaded the lyrics of a song called “My Universe” on July 15. This song is believed to be a new song belonging to the legendary British rock band, Coldplay.

While lyrics uploaded on the website may just be a mundane occurrence, the surprise comes from the lyric itself.

When you click on the “My Universe” song by Coldplay, you will see the title “My Universe” at the top of the page and “Coldplay” as the singer’s name.

However, the lyric surprisingly mentioned that the Coldplay song “My Universe” will feature the phenomenal Kpop boy group, BTS.

What’s more, based on MatchLyric’s post, there will also be parts that use the Korean language for the song.

And this is the reason that calls a collaboration rumors between Coldplay and BTS spread widely on the internet.

Big Hit Delivers Response on BTS – Coldplay Collab for “My Universe” Rumors

After the rumors began circulating on the internet, Big Hit finally took actions and delivered their response.

According to Big Hit Music and Warner Music Korea, there has not been any confirmation regarding BTS and Coldplay collaboration project.

BTS Performed Coldplay’s “Fix You” Cover, Coldplay: “Beautiful!”

Previously, BTS performed a stripped-down cover of one of Coldplay hit songs, “Fix You” for their “MTV Unplugged” special on February 23. The phenomenal boy group mentioned that “Fix You” had brought comfort for the members. Therefore, they wanted to share the same comfort to their fans by performing the song.

Apparently, Coldplay, the original singer of “Fix You” noticed BTS’ performance immediately. That was when Coldplay shared the performance on their social media accounts with a comment “Beautiful” in Korean, tagging BTS.
