BTS Jimin Tops Individual Kpop Idol Brand Reputation Rankings in January 2023

Top 5 Most Popular Individual Kpop Idol Brands

On January 24, the Korean Business Research Institute released the brand reputation ranking for individual Kpop idol brands in January 2023. The institute analyzed 69,517,410 personal Kpop idol brands collected from December 24, 2022, to January 24, 2023. However, compared to the individual idol brands of 76,337,069 in February 2022, it decreased by 8.93 percent.

The Dior’s newest Global Ambassador, BTS Jimin, held on to his position as the No. 1 most popular Kpop idol in the January list. However, his brand value fell by 18.93 percent from 5,682,902 in February 2022 to 4,607,152 in January 2023.

Further, in keyword analysis, BTS Jimin brand’s top-ranking phrases were “Vibe, Paris Fashion Week, and BIGBANG Taeyang.” Meanwhile, on the link analysis, his top-ranking related terms were “collaboration, participation, and recording.” In addition, in positivity-negativity analysis, BTS Jimin earned a positive rate of 90.76 percent.

In the second place, NewJeans’ Minji was newly added to the list with a brand value of 3,978,087. Meanwhile, BTS Jungkook rose to the third position with a brand value rose by 10.63 percent since last February 2022 to 3,887,118 in January.

Then, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo climbed to fourth place with a brand value increase of 26.93 percent since last February 2022 to 3,457,094 this month. Finally, NewJeans’ Hanni, newly added to the list, took fifth place and rounded out the top five with a brand value of 2,878,097.
