BTS Jin Releases Teaser & Release Date for “The Astronaut” – a Final Solo Project Before Military Enlistment

On October 19 at midnight KST, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced the release BTS Jin final solo project before military enlistment, “The Astronaut”. Along with the official announcement, BIGHIT also posted the official video teaser of BTS Jin “The Astronaut” solo project.

BTS Jin “The Astronaut” official teaser video shows footage of a journey in outer space. In the picture, a lone astronaut was seen voyaging around what seemed to be a satellite, enjoying the serenity and beauty of outer space. 

Then, accompanying the astronaut was a beautiful scene of a meteor shower along with beautiful serene background music. Both gave the astronaut a beautiful dramatic display as he moved toward the moon and other places.

This grand and serene music is so beautiful and perfect for BTS Jin solo song as he is exceptionally prominent for his soothing silvery voice. Moreover, it makes us more enthusiastic about how Jin’s rich emotion, silver voice, and divine falsettos will fit this mellifluent harmony.

Will BTS Jin Truly Collaborate with Coldplay in the Solo Project?

Previously, rumors circulated that BTS Jin would soon collaborate with British legend Coldplay in his solo projects. This rumor started spreading after Jin personally stated that he would be collaborating with someone he’d always loved in his solo project announcement during BTS Busan concert. 

“I ended up becoming the second member after j-hope to release my own album. It’s not huge or anything. It’s just a single.

But I was able to work together with someone that I’d always really liked, so I will be releasing a new song. I have recently filmed many different things, and there’s still a lot left to film, so I hope you will enjoy all of it.”

Unfortunately, when asked about whether BTS Jin will be collaborating with Coldplay, BIGHIT only gave a vague response.
