BTS RM is credited for 178 songs in KOMCA.

On July 15, 2021, RM was credited for 176 songs, tied with PSY in second place, while VIXX Ravi topped the list with 197 credits.

Thanks to his brilliant talent as a songwriter, his recent release tracks, ‘Bicycle’ and BTS x Coldplay ‘My Universe,’ where he participated in writing, have been added to the latest database in KOMCA.

As of October 1, according to KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association), BTS genius leader RM has 178 song credits under his name, which takes him up to no.2 on the list.

In addition, RM just had his 27th birthday on September 12. He is one year younger than VIXX Ravi; therefore, RM becomes the youngest Korean artist with most song credits under his name.

His recent collaboration song with John Eun and Moon SungSik, ‘Bicycle,’ is a gift for ARMY. Inspired by his favorite activity, the song combines melodic rap and sentimental vocals.

Meanwhile, the new release song ‘My Universe,’ is a collaboration song of BTS and Coldplay, where BTS members RM, J-Hope, and Suga were also writing the lyrics.

 

Other BTS members with more than 100 credit songs in KOMCA.

In addition, other BTS members who are listed in KOMCA with over 100 song credits under their names are J-Hope and Suga. As of now, Suga has 125 song credits, and J-Hope has 113 song credits.

The BTS rap line showed off their capabilities as songwriters. They were listed on the lyricist & composer credits of Coldplay x BTS “My Universe”.
