BTS
After being nominated for the 64th Grammy Awards, the South Korean septet group, BTS, has been nominated for three nominations at 2021 PCAs. Those are “The Group of 2021,” “The Song of 2021 with ‘Butter’,” and “The Music Video of 2021.”
For the Music Video of 2021, BTS received two nominations for the hit single “Butter” and their collaboration single with Coldplay, “My Universe.”
TXT
Kpop boy group TXT (Tomorrow x Together) debuted on March 4, 2019, with five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Hueningkai. Beomgyu, and Taehyun. The quintet group has been nominated for “The New Artist of 2021.”
In this category, the group competes with other nominees such as Olivia Rodrigo, 24kGoldn, Bella Poarch, Giveon, The Kid LAROI, Rauw Alejandro, and Tate McRae.
Squid Game
The global phenomenon “Squid Game” has been taking over the entertainment world with just nine episodes. It also has become the biggest show in Netflix history in less than a month.
The Netflix original series has been binge-watched by over 142 million viewers worldwide. In addition, the “Squid Game” actors catapulted to international superstars not long after the Kdrama was released.
The “Squid Game,” has been nominated for “The Bingeworthy Show of 2021.” The Kdrama competes in the category with other shows like “Outer Banks,” “Sex/Life,” “Cobra Kai,” “Loki,” “Mare of Easttown,” “Ted Lasso,” and “The White Lotus.”
2021 PCAs Schedule & How to Vote
The online voting is already open on the official website of the 2021 People’s Choice Awards until November 17. So log in with your email or Facebook account to vote, and you will get 25 votes per day in each category.
In addition, you can also vote through Twitter by tweeting votes on Twitter or retweeting someone’s vote. Notably, the tweet should contain the word ‘vote,’ the nominee, the category’s hashtag, 2021, and #PCAs.
