The 33rd Buil Film Awards 2024 Winners List
Following the opening of the 2024 Busan Film Festival on October 2, Busan-based daily newspaper Busan Ilbo held the 33rd Buil Film Awards on October 3. Leading actors Kim Dong Wook and Go Ah Sung led the dazzling ceremony, which took place at the Signiel Busan Grand Ballroom in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
In this 33rd edition, the awards presented 222 Korean films released between August 11, 2023 – August 10, 2024, in 16 categories.
In the 2024 Busan Film Festival, the star-studded Korean film “Cobweb” received nine nominations, marking it the most nominated film. Moreover, the big office movies “12.12: The Day” and “Exhuma” were each nominated in 8 categories.
Meanwhile, the new action crime thriller “Revolver” was nominated in 5 categories. The thriller mystery “Sleep” featuring Jung Yu Mi and the late actor Lee Sun Kyun earned four nominations. In addition, other movies with multiple nominations include “Noryang: Deadly Sea,” “Handsome Guys,” “Ms. Apocalypse,” “Hopeless,” “The Dream Songs,” each received three nominations, and “Citizen of a Kind” gained two nominations.
