The Korean Business Research Institute has published the Top 50 KPop Boy Group Popularity and Brand Reputation Rankings for December 2020.
As cited from Rekorea, “The Brand Reputation Index is an index that extracts a big data of a brand and analyzes it by consumer behavior. Then classifies and weights it into participation value, communication value, media value, and social value. Brand reputation analysis can help you to find out who, where, how, and why talking about your brand.”
For the analysis, the institute has collected big data of 60.938.158 brands’ reputation of Kpop boy group from November 12 to December 12, 2020. Moreover, compared to the 54.840.283 big data of Kpop boy group brand reputation in November, it increased by 11,12%.

Moreover, the results of the high ranking keyword analysis associated with BTS are “band of the year,” “Dynamite,” and “celebrity of the year.” In addition to this, the words “announce,” “release,” and “chosen are the highest-ranking related terms. Additionally, the group’s positive-negative analysis has positive reactions of 82.90%.
