December 2024 Individual Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 84,468,623 brand big data of 745 male Kpop idol group members from November 14 to December 14, 2024, for the individual Kpop boy group member brand reputation big data analysis. Compared to 70,338,147 Kpop boy group member brand big data in November, the number increased by 20.09 percent.
The institute conducted consumer behavior analysis using the latest brand big data. They measured the participation, media, communication, and community indexes to obtain the brand reputation indexes of boy group member brands.
As a result, BIGBANG G-Dragon, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, BTS Jin, RIIZE Won Bin, and BTS Jimin claimed their spots in the top five of the most popular male Kpop idols in December 2024.

1. BIGBANG G-Dragon
G-Dragon of BigBang, who rocked the stage at 2024 MAMA, took the top spot in the December 2024 brand reputation ranking of Kpop boy group members. The singer’s brand reputation index increased by 124.26 percent from 3,426,896 in November to 7,685,320 in December, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 1,735,990
- Media Index: 1,380,505
- Communication Index: 2,178,469
- Community Index: 2,390,356
In the link analysis, the institute found that the most related terms to G-Dragon were “comeback,” “unrivaled,” and “unchanging.” Meanwhile, the keyword analysis identified “Home Sweet Home,” “Power,” and “MAMA” as the singer’s most popular keywords. In addition, he achieved an impressive positive score of 91.49 percent in positivity/negativity analysis.
2. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO, who features in the new variety show “Rented in Finland,” remained in his position as the second most popular boy group member in December. His brand reputation rankings increased by 44.99 percent, from 3,680,064 in November to 5,335,804 in December, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 708,553
- Communication Index: 1,045,131
- Community Index: 1,929,054
3. BTS Jin
Jin of BTS, who is set to sing the OST for the upcoming drama “When the Stars Gossip,” dropped to the third spot on the ranking of K-pop boy group members this month. Despite the drop in rank, his brand reputation increased by 25.85 percent from 4,208,846 in November to 5,296,716 in December 2024, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 537,515
- Communication Index: 1,517,645
- Community Index: 2,994,682
4. RIIZE Won Bin
Won Bin of RIIZE, dubbed the sold-out king after his winter fashion item Balaclava caught fans’ attention and sold out in just 10 days, rose to fourth place in the boy group members’ rankings this month. The rookie idol’s brand reputation index increased by 99.02 percent from 1,588,939 in November to 3,162,365 in December, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 319,109
- Communication Index: 595,481
- Community Index: 1,891,653
5. BTS Jimin
Jimin from BTS, whose song “Who” remained strong on Billboard Hot 100 for 20 weeks straight and became the second song in chart history after PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” concluded the top 5 individual Kpop boy group member rankings in December 2024, with the following breakdown:
