Among the most shocking contents was how the company criticized ENHYPEN Sunghoon‘s visuals. Then, the report specifically looked down on various negative sides of the company’s own beloved princess, LE SSERAFIM.
What’s more, the internal documents leak also mentioned how HYBE was taking advantage of the fan wars between BLACKPINK and EXO members. It also accused Jisoo’s solo stans of being overly reactive, picking “unnecessary fights” and comparing idols’ values. The file mentioned that they were also behind Rosé’s previous dating rumors.

The national petition started on October 30, titled “Petition on the Revocation of HYBE’s ‘Top Enterprise’ Status.” Not even a week has passed since the petition was first published, but at the time of the writing, over 33,700 people are officially signing, gathering around 67% of the necessary voice.
According to the petition, the people are urging the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor to revoke HYBE’s status as the nation’s “Top Enterprise.” Apparently, this status is an honorary title from the government to companies that demonstrate exemplary labor practices, such as maintaining healthy workplace environments, promoting worker rights, and fostering positive labor-management relations.
Since HYBE was previously investigated in the National Assembly trial, discussing various controversies related to unhealthy labor practices, the Korean public is asking their government to revoke the status. They believe that these issues had proved that the company was unfaithful to its title.
Not only that, but the recent leak of internal documents has also escalated the controversy, creating a nationwide backlash against HYBE.
An interesting story went viral on social media: when a person discussed HYBE’s controversy and mentioned Lim Young Woong, five more people immediately signed the petition.
