ENHYPEN Sunoo Apologized to SEVENTEEN Jeonghan

During his VLive broadcast, a fan asked Sunoo whether he knows the new slang phrase, “Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi.” Thinking of it as a random phrase created by young kids, Sunoo responded innocently.

“‘Do you know Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi?’ What is that?

Ah…the kids these days. I don’t understand.”

Sunoo

Later, he found out that SEVENTEEN Jeonghan created the phrase. On SSAP Possible: Melon Station, Sunoo shared what he thought at that time.

“‘That must be some new thing,’ was all I thought. But I didn’t think it would come back and hit me like that.”

Sunoo

ENHYPEN Sunoo genuinely apologized to Jeonghan and admitted that he adored Jeonghan’s sense of humor by creating such a trending phrase. He also praised Jeonghan’s cleverness.

“First off, Jeonghan, I’m really sorry. I think it’s a great creation. It goes well with the current trends.”

Sunoo

Sunoo then started using Jeonghan’s famous phrase, “Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi.” And he sent wishes for the phrase to be even more popular.

“And even I use it from time to time! I’ve been using it ever since.

Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi. I hope it spreads more and more.”

Well, don’t worry too much, Sunoo. Jeonghan was grateful that many idols are and will be enjoying the “Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi” phrase.

Though, it’s kind of cute seeing ENHYPEN Sunoo apologized to SEVENTEEN Jeonghan in that way. Will you use “Shingi-banggi Bboongbboong-banggi” more, Kpop fellows?
