On June 23, Charlie Puth released an official teaser for the new song and MV collaboration with BTS Jungkook, “Left and Right,” just a day before its release date.
The teaser video showed glimpses of fun between Charlie Puth and BTS Jungkook singing their new song, “Left and Right”. With their iconic expressions and movements, Charlie Puth and BTS Jungkook seemed to have so much fun, which we can see later in the full video.

The First Time It Emerged in Social Media – in FEBRUARY!
First and foremost, Charlie Puth had been posting about his “Left and Right” new song with BTS Jungkook back in FEBRUARY – almost 4 months before its release date. While everyone believed it was such a wonderful gimmick, nobody realized it would be one of the most epic collaborations in the music industry!

In May 6, Charlie Puth then posted a teaser, containing a clear part of “Left and Right”. Still, there was no sign that “Left and Right” would be a new collaboration between Charlie Puth and Jungkook, even when it was only about a month before the release date.

On June 10, Charlie Puth once again posted a teaser about the making process of the pre-chorus part of “Left and Right”. By this time, signs were already clear, and ARMY fans were confident that there would be a collaboration between Charlie Puth and Jungkook.

The next teaser of “Left and Right” from Charlie Puth is that he posted a video hinted about Jungkook. In the video, Charlie Puth stated, “Alright, I have one more hint as to who’ll sing ‘Left and Right’ with me. Here’s the hint.”
The next scene in the video showed Earth, Wind, and Fire’s song, “September”. Then, Charlie Puth mentioned “The first!”, which indicated Jungkook’s birthday, September 1.

During a radio interview, Charlie Puth revealed that he has always had that special relationship with Jungkook since the collaboration with BTS in 2018. That is why the partnership happens just naturally for both of them.
