"Find a Man Like Kim Namjoon," This Mom Told Her Daughter

Kim Namjoon, or also known as RM (Rap Monster), is the leader of South Korean Kpop boy group, BTS. As a leader, he is said to have all the characters of a leader. He is smart (did you know RM’s TOEIC score? It’s mindblowing!), thoughtful, decisive, kindhearted and of course talented. Namjoon’s speeches as BTS leaders have inspired many people worldwide. Besides writing and producing songs, he also loves reading books. In her letter to Namjoon, this mom said that the traits of BTS leader has made her in love and told her daughter to find a man like Namjoon.

안녕하요, 김 남준씨.
When I wrote this to you, I was namjooning at the beach, enjoying the breezes in my hair and the warmth of the sun against my skin.
I laid my eyes on the horizon, thinking of how my life would be if I never dragged myself to jump into your universe, BTS world? Yeah, I can imagine it. My life would be so devastating.
You might wonder when was the first time I fell for you. Okay, so, thanks to James Corden Carpool Karaoke. It was last year, in a sad gloomy March when the first Covid-19 positive case found in my country. I was scrolling down through my YouTube recommendations and Mr. Corden’s show had you guys as the thumbnail. I was like “Nah, I don’t understand KPop.” I passed it. But, nothing attracted my eyes more than you in your tumeric yellow top. I went “I’m gonna give this a shot coz this tumeric-topped guy looks so attractive.” Long story short, since then, I searched for each BTS members’ name, watched dozens of the MVs, downloaded VLive and Weverse, subscribed all BTS official channels on YouTube, followed all BTS sns, joined multiple international group chats, and got lost in fans’ theories.
김 남준씨, let me tell you this. You might have known this or heard this for like sooo many times, but just give me a chance to tell this again. You are awesome. You are amazing. You’re a leader by nature and I love this “leader aura” in you. You’re smart and all. I’m so motivated by you. Although I’m much older than you, but I’m not ashamed to confess that you are my role model in many aspects. Even, believe it or not, I always tell my oldest daughter to find a man who is like Namjoon, who has Namjoon’s character in him.
It is true that BTS makes my life a hundred times better. The only thing that I regret the most is I wasn’t there since the beginning. Therefore, I’ll make sure myself to be here, supporting BTS forever.
