H1-KEY Returns with A Profound Message to Everyone
The debut of Seoi, Yel, Riina, and Hwiseo with Athletic Girl doesn’t seem to leave a deep impression in Kpop enthusiasts’ hearts. However, their first comeback made fans Run to them with adoration.
This year, H1-KEY opened the year with a more mature comeback. On January 5, H1-KEY returned with their first mini-album Rose Blossom, with six tracks: Ring the Alarm, Rose Blossom (title track), Crown Jewel, You Are My Key (for M1-KEY), Dream Trip, and the 2023 version of Athletic Girl.

The new single Rose Blossom (건물 사이에 피어난 장미) leads H1-KEY first mini-album with the same name. With the strong vocals of the members and mid-tempo groove, the title track sends a profound self-assuring message, saying,
“I’m a rose among the concrete,
Until this bleak city becomes filled with color.”
Furthermore, not only people who don’t meet the social standards need to listen to Rose Blossom by H1-KEY, but everyone, even those who get picked and face criticism and scrutiny, also needs this.

Rose Blossom sounds like an upbeat ballad that matches perfectly with the visual cues of the music video. Vocal on the main melody during the chorus satisfyingly blends and gives the arrangement more heft.
