Kpop fans, are you ready to enter ANOTHER fierce battlefield? BTS has finally entered the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs) as nominees in 3 major categories. BTS is one of the Nominees for the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs)
Indeed, we have finally entered the awards season for the music and entertainment industries, which is why the supergroup BTS will be fighting multiple upcoming battles.
On October 28, BTS official social media account posted an announcement that BTS has become one of the nominees for the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs).

BTS Nominated for 3 Categories at the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs)
Not only have they placed their names as the nominees, but BTS has also become one of the superior artists who entered the 2021 American Music Awards in multiple categories.
Firstly, the BTS group itself has been nominated under “Artist of the Year” and “Favorite Pop Duo/Group”.
Then, we also have BTS English hit song, “Butter”, which enters the nomination among the “Favorite Pop Song” nominees.
Who are the Powerful Competitors?
However, this time, the battle will NOT be easy. After all, BTS is now fighting against some powerful competitors in each of its categories.
Artist of the Year
The first category in which BTS is nominated is the “Artist of the Year”. The supergroup will be head to head against Ariana Grande, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and The Weekend.
Favorite Pop Duo or Group
Secondly, BTS will also be facing big names in the “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” category. Powerful contestants like AJR, Glass Animals, Maroon 5, and Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak) are ready with their massive popularity to fight against the Kpop leaders.

And lastly, BTS has also entered the 2021 American Music Awards nominations with their English hit song, “Butter”. In the “Favorite Pop Song” category, BTS will be fighting against some of the world’s most famous songs, including “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat feat. SZA, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa, “drivers license” by Olivia Rodrigo, and “Save Your Tears (Remix)” by The Weeknd & Ariana Grande.
How to VOTE?
Knowing that the Kpop phenomenon is in need of urgent help, ARMY fans worldwide are ready to assist by donating their voices for their beloved idols. But, if you don’t know how to vote for the 2021 American Music Awards, rest assured! Today, we’re going to help you through a step-by-step voting tutorial for AMAs.
There are two ways to participate in the voting: website and TikTok. For now, TikTok is the most convenient voting method, so please make sure you have the app available and ready to use on your phone.
- Open Tiktok and type “AMAs” on the search bar.
- Click/tap on the AMAs header at the top of your screen.
- You will now face the “GENERAL” page of the voting screen, and you can vote for your favorite artists under “Artist of the Year”, “New Artist of the Year”, etc.
- If you want to go to a different page, click on the “Select Award”, and choose your category.
- Click on the name of the artists you want to vote.
Unfortunately, you can vote only ONCE per day for every category in the nomination. Therefore, make sure you come back again the next day and repeat the process. That way, you can make sure that you’ve given your voice to your beloved artist.
The voting process is open NOW until November 16, 2021, and the award itself will air on November 21 on ABC Network.
