On the day of his enlistment, as well as his birthday, Baekhyun’s photos with his new buzz cut were revealed on EXO’s fan community on Lysn. EXO Baekhyun celebrates his birthday and has officially enlisted in the military. What a happy and sad news at the same time.

One day before the enlistment, Baekhyun posted a photo of himself with his new haircut. He wrote on the caption, “D-1. I’ll go and return safely.”

Baekhyun’s Service Enlistment
On his birthday, Baekhyun officially enlisted in the service center. Baekhyun is the 6th member of XO to enlist after D.O., Xiumin, Suho, Chen, and Chanyeol.
He will enter the training center privately and receive basic military training for three weeks. After that, Baekhyun will perform his military service as a social worker.
Due to his hyperthyroidism, Baekhyun should be treated thoroughly and receive a grade 4 judgment in the military service judgment test. He didn’t qualify for active service and served as a social service worker instead.
