On January 28, the Korean Business Research Institute released the latest top 100 Kpop idols who made waves in January 2025, with Rosé from BLACKPINK ranked first. BLACKPINK Rosé Tops January 2025 Individual Kpop Idol Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 163,322,138 individual brand big data on 1,730 idols from December 29, 2024, to January 29, 2025. They used this individual idol brand big data to measure the brand reputation index through consumer behavior analysis, categorizing it into four key factors: participation, media, communication, and community indexes. However, compared to the 194,169,629 brand big data collected in December 2024, this number declined by 15.89 percent.
As a result of the analysis, Rosé from BLACKPINK, Karina from aespa, Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO, Jang Won Young from IVE, and G-Dragon from BIGBANG dominated the top five places in this January’s brand reputation rankings for individual Kpop idols.

Rosé of BLACKPINK, who made history with her solo album “Rosie” by charting for six consecutive weeks in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200, ranked first in January’s individual Kpop idol rankings. Despite her rise in rank, her brand value significantly decreased by 53.84 percent, from 18,825,475 in December 2024 to 8,690,225 in January 2025. Here’s the breakdown:

Furthermore, in the link analysis, the institute identified the words “launch,” “reverse,” and “appearance” as the most related terms to Rosé. They also discovered “APT,” “Rosie,” and “vinyl” as her popular keywords in keywords analysis. In addition, Rosé, who was named as the first Kpop artist to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Radio Airplay Chart, achieved a positive score of 92.97 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. aespa Karina
Karina of aespa, who was recently selected as the first advertising model for the Italian coffee chain Pascucci in Korea, maintained her position in second place. The female idol’s brand value rose by 5.91 percent, increasing from 5,998,096 in December 2024 to 6,352,554 in January 2024, with the following breakdown:

3. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

4. IVE Jang Won Young
