After experiencing an unexpected hurdle in her rising career, actress Jeon Jong Seo of “Wedding Impossible” and “Money Heist” will soon return with a new project!
On May 3, Korean media outlet TenAsia reported that Jeon Jong Seo had been the main candidate for the leading role in “Genie House.” It is a 16-episode series by One Content production company, which previously worked on “Joseon Attorney.”
Following the new report, Jeon Jeon Seo’s agency, ANDMARQ, responded by stating the actress has not yet made any decision. “Genie House” is simply one of the projects the actress is currently reviewing.

According to the reports, “Genie House” is all about the inspiring journeys of young dreamers who are navigating some tough challenges. The new Korean drama zooms in on a woman who takes the bold step of starting her own online fashion shopping mall. But at the same time, it also follows a man as he makes a bold transition from being a pop idol to pursuing a career in acting.
In this new drama, Jeon Jong Seo has received an offer to play the character Tak Hyo Jin. She is a character who challenges herself to start an online fashion shopping mall.
Jeon Jong Seo: The Rising Korean Actress
Born on July 5, 1994, actress Jeon Jong Seo made quite the entrance back in 2018. She stepped onto the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for her debut film, “Burning.”
Since then, she’s been unstoppable, delivering knockout performances in Netflix hits like “Call” and “Ballerina,” as well as the series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” and TVING’s “Ransom.” She’s also charmed audiences as Ja Young in the romantic comedy “Loveless Romance” and made her mark in the tvN drama “Wedding Impossible.”
But Jeon isn’t hitting the brakes anytime soon. She’s all set to lead the upcoming Tving series “Queen Woo,” which we’ll get to see this August.
