tvN’s New Rom-Com Drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son”
According to an exclusive report from OSEN on November 30, top actor Jung Hae In is currently reviewing an offer to star in tvN’s new drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son” (literal title). FNC Entertainment, Jung Hae-In’s agency, responded to the report by stating,
“Jung Hae In has received a script for tvN’s new drama, “Mom’s Friend’s Son,” and is currently considering the offer.”

Following his break after “D.P.” last July, actor Jung Hae In has received numerous offers. Among the offers, the actor most positively discusses the male lead role in “Mom’s Friend’s Son.”
Earlier in October, reports emerged that he had been offered a lead role for a new rom-com titled “Fling and Shopping.” Despite its potential for excitement, the actor politely declined the offer. However, this potential lead role in “Mom’s Friend’s Son” could be his debut lead in a romantic comedy.
Director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun are teaming up once again for the upcoming drama. This exciting collaboration will bring together their exceptional talent and storytelling prowess.
Previously, they collaborated on the successful series “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” in 2021, a remake of the movie “Hong Ban-jang” after 17 years. Starring Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho, this heartwarming and therapeutic drama garnered impressive ratings of 12.7% and massive love.
The upcoming drama is all set to start filming in the first half of next year and is gearing up for its highly anticipated premiere in 2024.
