July 2025 Top 50 K-pop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
From June 17 to July 17, 2025, the Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 71,366,509 pieces of brand data for K-pop idol groups. The number decreased by 15.09% from 84,049,295 pieces in June. The analysis revealed that BLACKPINK, BTS, IVE, SEVENTEEN, and BIGBANG dominated the top five positions.

TOP 5
1. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK soared to the #1 position with an incredible 85.60% increase in their brand reputation index from 4,152,491 in June to 7,707,025 in July. This surge was driven by two major events: the kickoff of their highly anticipated “Deadline” world tour at Goyang Stadium and the release of their powerful new single “JUMP,” but by a far more powerful narrative: their full group return. Their keyword analysis perfectly captured this, with “JUMP,” “world tour,” and “full group” ranking high. Related terms, such as “overwhelming,” “all-kill,” and “sold out,” led to an incredible 94.57% positivity score.
2. BTS
BTS secured second place on this month’s K-pop idol group rankings with a brand reputation index of 7,483,615. Their brand reputation index increased by 7.39% from 6,968,708 in June. The group’s ranking was driven by the members’ reunion after military service. This event generated enormous organic buzz among fans and the general public. In addition, their announcement of a 2026 album and world tour created powerful, forward-looking anticipation.
3. IVE
IVE climbed to third place this month with a brand reputation index of 3,822,629 in July. It increased by 5.32%, rising from 3,629,408 in June. Their historic performance as the first K-pop girl group to take the stage at Lollapalooza Berlin boosted their popularity. Their global achievement solidified their status as global performers.
4. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEN fell to fourth place in this month’s ranking with a brand reputation index dropping 49.33% from 5,993,949 in June to 3,037,148 in July. However, SEVENTEEN’s drop is not a sign of failure, but a reflection of an intensely competitive month. Their activities (enlistment, 10th anniversary, DINO’s collaboration for Esport World Cup 2025, and subunit news) were positive and substantial.
5. BIGBANG
BIGBANG held strong at fifth place this month, concluding the top five K-pop idol groups for this month. Their brand reputation index fell by 12.56% from 2,730,536 in June to 2,387,627 in July. The group’s legacy power is an ultimate example of enduring brand power, as they remain in the top 5 despite having no recent group activities.
