On February 18, prominent American media company, People Magazine, released a list of the top 20 Talented Emerging Artists 2022. On the list are the names of global artists that the magazine will be watching this year.

Along with other talented artists like Jamie Miller, Emilia, JEVERSON, and Kevin Quinn, idol actor and company CEO Kang Daniel makes the top of the list with singer-songwriter BiBi.

Kang Daniel has been making history from a very young age. Not only with his various achievements as a celebrity but also as an entrepreneur. And as if those achievements are not enough, this year Kang Daniel makes his very first debut as an actor in Disney+ “Rookie Cops” drama. In this drama he works with Chae Soo Bin.

“I think that I’m just a normal kid from Busan, Korea that likes to do normal things like playing video games, hanging out with friends, watching movies.”

During his interview with People Magazine, apparently Kang Daniel mentioned that Linkin Park is one of the many bands that have inspired him. After all, their music has saved Kang Daniel and helped him go through some of his toughest times.

However, eventually, Kang Daniel admitted that his biggest inspiration above everything is his mother.

In addition to Kang Daniel, 23-year-old R&B singer-songwriter BiBi also made the list of Talented Emerging Artists 2022 on People Magazine.

The prominent magazine particularly mentioned BiBi as the “K-Alt Queen” and her 15 million streams accomplishment of her single, “The Weekend”.

When talking about her music, BiBi told People Magazine that she recommends her song, “Binu”, to better understand who she truly is. After all, she stated that she had written “Binu” from a “genuine, honest place”.

“Like many of us, I’m a multifaceted person with many layers – and you can say the same about my music and performances!

I hope people keep that in mind when checking me out and not judge me based on a single performance or a particular song.”
