KiiiKiii Still Leads Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in May 2025
From April 1 to May 1, the Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 10,340,281 pieces of brand big data for rookie idol groups that debuted after 2023. This figure marked a 1.24 percent increase compared to the 10,214,043 pieces of new idol groups’ brand big data analyzed in April.
According to the results of the analysis, Kpop groups KiiiKiii, Hearts2Hearts, ILLIT, TWS, and IZNA dominated the top five spots in the May 2025 rookie Kpop idol group brand reputation rankings.
TOP 5
1st KiiiKiii
KiiiKiii maintained their dominance for three months straight in May rookie idol rankings. However, despite remaining in the first place, their brand reputation index decreased by 30.73 percent—from 2,359,448 in April to 1,634,366 in May.
In link analysis, the group’s most associated terms were “genius,” “natural,” and “advertising.” Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, their top keywords were “I Do Me,” “BTG,” and “KiiiKiii box.” Additionally, the group gained a positive score of 87.49 percent in positivity-negativity analysis.
The group’s addictive and vibrant title track, “I Do Me,” continues to chart on multiple platforms, solidifying their presence in the Kpop world. Their fifth track, “BTG (Been That Girl)” from EP “Uncut Gem,” has also captivated fans. To celebrate their debut, KiiiKiii held a special event, “KiiiKiii Box,” delivering special gifts for their lucky fans in Korea.

2nd Hearts2Hearts
Hearts2Hearts, who delivered a stellar performance at the 2025 Seoul Wonder Show opening, held onto their second place in this month’s rankings. Despite maintaining their position, the group’s brand reputation index decreased significantly by 41.65 percent—from 2,232,975 in April to 1,302,832 in May. Additionally, the group will make their first-ever comeback with a second single in June.
3rd ILLIT
ILLIT rose to third place in this month’s ranking. Their brand reputation index increased significantly by 128.87 percent, from 483,239 in April to 1,105,980 in May. The new girl group is set for various activities, including their first fan concert, “2025 Glitter Day in Seoul,” a special appearance of Wonhee in the new K-drama “Spring of Youth,” and a collaboration between ILLIT’s Yunah and Minju with US actor-singer Kylie Cantrall on her upcoming single “See U Tonight.”

4th TWS
TWS, who recently made a comeback with their third EP, “Try With Us,” dropped to fourth place this month. Despite falling in the rankings, the group’s brand reputation index increased by 51.56 percent, from 646,465 in April to 979,811 in May.
5th IZNA
IZNA, who recently made a stunning comeback with their latest digital single, “SIGN,” rounded out this month’s top five rookie Kpop idol groups. Their brand reputation index increased by 106.26 percent, rising from 431,343 in April to 889,692 in May.
