According to Jellyfish Entertainment, on Tuesday (13/7), South Korean singer and actress Kim Se-jeong will make a comeback and release a new song, “Baby I Love U,” at 6 p.m. on July 23, 2021.

Four months after her 2nd album released, “I’M,” actress Kim Se-jeong or known as Sejeong, finally will comeback with a love song, “Baby I Love U.” Through her Instagram, Kim Se-jeong conveyed, “It’s almost time for something to pop up.”
Her new song is a remake of a hip-hop summery love song from a Japanese singer named TEE.
The original song of “Baby I Love U” is a famous song with exciting lyrics and addictive melodies. It successfully topped many music charts and was covered by word-class singers such as Malaysian-Australian singer Che’Nelle and British band Mamas Gun.
Meanwhile, with a unique, clear tone and excellent vocal skills, Sejeong will deliver a sense of abundance. In addition, Sejeong’s version of the song will have a K-pop touch added by producing team Iconic Sounds. It’s a famous producing team, who has worked with top-rated K-pop artists such as BoA, Girls’ Generation, EXO, and NCT.
Sejeong started her career in the Kpop industry as a member of the girl group I.O.I after selected as the second winner of the K-Pop girl group survival reality show “Produce 101” in 2016. After the girl group disbanded in early 2017, she joined the K-pop girl group Gugudan (2016-2020). Moreover, she also started her solo music career with her popular solo debut song, “Flower Way,” in 2016. Her other popular songs are “Plant” (2020) and “Whale” (2020).
Moreover, she is also successful as an actress. Some popular drama lists of Kim Se-jeong are “School 2017” (2017), “I Wanna Hear Your Song” (2019), and “The Uncanny Counter” (2020-2021). She also joins K-variety shows like Busted!, King of Mask Singer, and more.
