According to reports from former MBC reporter turned far-right YouTuber Kim Se Ui, a phone conversation with Kim Sae Ron’s aunt revealed that the two stars were allegedly involved in a 6-year dating relationship, beginning in 2015. At the time, Kim Sae Ron was still a 15-year-old minor and Kim Soo Hyun was 27. Their supposed relationship reportedly lasted until 2021.
Kim Sae Ron’s Decision to Join GOLD MEDALIST
In 2019, when Kim Soo Hyun launched his own agency, GOLD MEDALIST, Kim Sae Ron chose not to renew her contract with YG Entertainment and instead joined his company.
Her aunt claimed that, due to their dating relationship, Kim Sae Ron dedicated herself to the agency. She worked behind the scenes by scouting new talent and mentoring actors. And she did all these without financial compensations.
However, their alleged romance reportedly ended in 2022, coinciding with Kim Sae Ron’s drunk driving scandal.

Garosero Research Institute Fires Back on Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron Relationship Issue
Yet, insteading backing out, Garosero Research Insitute has now escalated its attack. In response to the agency’s legal threats, the channel is now claiming that Kim Soo Hyun could face criminal charges for allegedly having a relationship with a minor.
On the “Posts” section of the channel, Garosero mocked Kim Soo Hyun and his management for their legal threats. The channel then boldly announced that a formal report would be filed against the actor, accusing him of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with Kim Sae Ron when she was underage.
In addition to the allegations, Garosero criticized Kim Soo Hyun for not attending Kim Sae Ron’s funeral, comparing him to other top actors like Won Bin, who reportedly paid his respects.
