Despite being the very first of its many years ahead, the Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 revealed surprising lineup artists, excluding those big names from the controversial Kpop label HYBE. That is, except NewJeans. And yet, tickets for Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 immediately sold out within minutes of release! So, what really happened behind the scene? Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 Tickets Sold Out – 2nd Round Begins Soon!
Brace yourself! The 2nd round of ticket sales for Korea Grand Music Awards 2024 will be starting very soon! Following its surprising lineup artists, Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 managed to sell all its debut tickets within minutes after the sales open.
On October 31, just a few minutes after Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 opened the 1st sale at Yes24, all the available tickets immediately sold out. Although the committee limited the purchase to 2 tickets for each person, all the available seats were quickly snapped up. Therefore, the KGMA organizing committee decided to open another round of ticket sales via Yes24 on November 1 & 2, 2024.
And this will become yet another fierce battle between Korean music enthusiasts.
No HYBE Artists? No Problem! Tickets Still Sold Out!
Previously, Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 attracted massive attention for the surprising lineup artists involved in its debut ceremony.
KGMA’s first award ceremony will occur on November 16 & 17 at the Inspire Arena, Incheon. There will be 2 sets of lineup artists for the two-day event:

Now, if you pay close attention, there’s no mention of HYBE artists at this 2-day event lineup, except NewJeans. It is also debatable as NewJeans is right now in a massive dispute with bullying case against its own parent company, HYBE.
So, what happened behind this surprising lineup?
What’s the Reason for the Surprising Lineup?
Apparently, the KGMA is a new award ceremony that belongs to Korean media outlet, Ilgan Sports. Avid Kpop fans will notice that Ilgan Sports was the first media reporting all the exclusive details behind HYBE internal documents leak.
Not only that, but Ilgan Sports has been consistently revealing more hidden secrets behind the giant Kpop corporation. Therefore, the public assumed that the absence of HYBE artists from KGMA lineup was either because HYBE refused to participate in Ilgan Sports’s event, or simply because the news outlet does not want to get affiliated with HYBE.
Either way, fans believe that even when there’s no HYBE artists joining the event, Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) 2024 lineup is massive enough that it sold out the tickets within minutes.
