The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 121,792,967 brand big data of 50 beloved movie stars in Korea from July 10 to August 10, 2023. They categorized the relationship between consumers and brands and analyzed it using a big data reputation algorithm. Surprisingly, the movie star brand big data decreased by 41.66% compared to last July’s data, which stood at 208,751,830.

The Institute utilized this dataset to analyze consumer behavior, including brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community indexes. This comprehensive analysis aims to determine the brand reputation rankings for August 2023.

Accordingly, actors Jung Hae In, Jo In Sung, Son Suk Ku, Ha Jung Woo, and Lee Byung Hun ranked as the top five most popular Korean movie stars in August 2023.

1. Jung Hae In
