Generous Donation from Lee Jung Suk for Children’s Medical Treatment
As reported by Sports Kyunghyang on May 4, Lee Jon Suk and IU provided a generous and heartwarming donation for following Family Month this May and Children’s Day on May 5.
On May 3, Lee Jong-seok donated KRW 100 million to the Children’s Hospital of the Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The donation also included profits from the bazaar that Lee Jong Suk held on April 30, adding powerful warmth.
The actor donated a generous amount to help the children to live healthy and happy lives. In addition, the donation will provide medical treatment for children from low-income families.
Special Homemade Rice Cake and Pizza Party from IU for Children with Disabilities & Teachers
On April 4, IU generously provided special lunch for the students and teachers of Miral Special Education School, a special school for children with disabilities. The special lunch consists of homemade rice cakes, pizza, and drinks. What made them even more special was IU’s mother made the rice cakes.
The idea of a pizza party started from a song, One Step, composed by Kim Je-hwi. He was the one who composed IU’s Through the Night as well. One Step was performed by the teachers of Miral School and IU as a talent donation. The song delivers a message of hope to those who support children with disabilities, as well as to those who work tirelessly to make a positive impact, no matter how small.
IU has maintained contact with Miral School. She even sent a food truck to show support for the filming of the One Step MV last March. In addition, she expressed her desire to do something special for the children on the upcoming Children’s Day.

IU and Lee Jong Suk’s efforts to make a difference on Children’s Day are genuinely inspiring. Their generosity and inspirational qualities as individuals and a couple are admirable. In addition to Lee Jong Suk and IU, various stars delivered their best wishes for Children’s Day, such as Park Bo Young, Kim Go Eun, Lee Seung Gi, and EXO Chanyeol.
