Actors Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun finally have signed on to star in the medical mystery thriller drama on Wavve, Look at Me.
Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun Officially Lead LOOK AT ME – Wavve Original Korean Drama
According to the Korean news site Mydaily, on February 22, Wavve officially announced that Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun will be teaming up in the upcoming new drama Look at Me.
Look at Me will follow the story of a former top surgeon who has lost his reputation after an incident. He then works as a plastic surgeon who helps victims of crimes. The series will explore the world of Korean plastic surgery.
Ahn Sang Hoon, who directed The Witness, Empire of Lust, and Arang, will helm the upcoming drama. Meanwhile, Hwang Ye Jin of the drama Secret Mother will write the script.
West World Story production company will produce the drama. It is the same production company that made the Tracer and Strangers Again. Further, for the special visual effects that will show the plastic surgery scenes, West World will use the same technology in Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead, The Silent Sea, and Sweet Home.
The Korean drama Look at Me production will start in March. Look at Me will exclusively premiere on Wavve in the second half of this year.
Roles of Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Hyun in New Drama Look at Me
Actor Lee Min Ki will be starring as Cha Jung Woo. He is the top plastic surgeon who uses his expertise to enhance the lives of his patients with great visuals. The drama will be his second project this year.
He will also star in the upcoming drama series Behind Your Touchalongside Han Ji Min, EXO’s Suho, Park Hyuk Kwon, and Joo Min Kyung. In addition, the drama will also be his reunion project with director Kim Seok Yoon, who also worked with him on My Liberation Notes.
Han Ji Hyun will play the role of Lee Min Hyung, a brilliant detective in the violent crimes department. She has incredible self-confidence and great empathy for other people.
Look at Me will be her first project in 2023. Last year she starred alongside Bae In Hyuk, Kim Hyun Jin, Jang Gyu Ri, Lee Min Jae, and Lee Eun Saem in the Korean drama Cheer Up.
