Seoul is ready to welcome a new chapter of cultural exchange as Milan Loves Seoul (MLS) returns on September 6–7, 2025, with its latest edition, Estate Italiana. For two days, fashion, design, food, and music will come together, bringing the spirit of Italian creativity into dialogue with Korean innovation.
Exhibitions and Encounters
The event opens on September 6 at TAES, with the public invited to discover the work of 12 Italian designers: Marea, Bombo Studio, Maurizio Taiuti, Aendor Studio, Denisa Rad, Idama, Chooselife, Francesca Cottone, Bootei, Gambari Milano, Lemme, and Maison Nencioni. Alongside the collections, brand installations will add to the atmosphere, from the Portofino Gin Lounge to a Prosecco DOC tasting and interactive projects by StripTags.
The evening will conclude with a networking party, providing an opportunity for designers, partners, and guests to meet and share ideas in a relaxed, Italian-inspired setting.
On September 7, the exhibition continues at TAES, but the evening spotlight moves to Neuromeka for the fashion show.
The Fashion Show and Red Carpet
The night opens with a red carpet, welcoming international celebrities, Korean actors, and music personalities who will be joining the celebration. It promises to be one of the weekend’s most photographed moments, where the glamour of Seoul meets the elegance of Milan.
The Designers
Francesca Cottone – CTRL
Francesca Cottone opens the show with CTRL, a collection that captures the spirit of duality—confidence and instinct, tradition and rebellion. Cottone reworks preppy culture and early 2000s codes, layering them with sharp tailoring and a raw, urban energy. Silhouettes are bold yet fluid, colors range from pastels to saturated tones, and details are functional but full of attitude. The result is a wardrobe that adapts to city rhythms, balancing day and night, formality and freedom. For Cottone, CTRL is not just a collection but an attitude, where Italian craftsmanship meets the fearless edge of Korean street culture. Korean brands fashion show collab: Finoacinque, Lesaut.
Denisa Rad – Chiaroscuro Bloom
With Chiaroscuro Bloom, Denisa Rad creates a poetic dialogue between light and shadow, purity and playfulness. Her silhouettes move between architectural layering and fluid romance—tiered skirts, cropped tailoring, sculptural ruffles, and uniform-inspired details softened by soft fabrics. The palette evokes summer memories: crisp white, deep black, soft lilac, and buttery yellow. Rad’s collection feels like fabric caught by the wind—at once serene and daring, a choreography of fragility and strength. Korean brands fashion show collab: Pipetta, Gitsam, Pleatsmama.
Aendor Studio – AESSENZA
AESSENZA by Aendor Studio takes a more introspective route, reflecting on what it means to exist in a world where identity often dissolves into digital surfaces. Minimal, total-black garments envelop the body, tracing its lines without concealing them. The designs feel both intimate and universal, exploring presence and absence in a contemporary, fragmented landscape. For Aendor, fashion becomes resistance—an insistence on the body’s ability to remain visible and real. The runway will stage this as a visual dialogue, echoing the fragile boundary between who we are and who we could be. Korean brands fashion show collab: BOOTEI, Nuosmiq.
Marea – Canovacci
Marea turns domestic ritual into high fashion with Canovacci. The collection is crafted from everyday fabrics—tablecloths, napkins, and tea towels—transformed into elegant garments. A pared-down palette of white, red, and blue recalls the memory of household textiles, while jacquard textures, checks, and embroideries add complexity. Functionality becomes ornament, and intimacy becomes language. With Canovacci, Marea redefines the codes of elegance by rewriting the everyday, bridging the familiar with the extraordinary. Korean brands fashion show collab: Nuosmiq, Pleatsmama.
Finale – Verdeacqua IMMERSIONE
The finale belongs to Verdeacqua, the artistic project of Sicilian painter Giulia Guajana. IMMERSIONE is a swimwear collection inspired by the Mediterranean seabed, where watercolors meet fabric. Delicate hues and sea motifs bring the landscapes of Sicily onto the runway, closing the show with a dreamlike atmosphere. It is a reminder that Milan Loves Seoul is not only about fashion but about art, memory, and imagination. Styling in collaboration with Italian brands StripTags, Bombo Studio, and Gin Portofino.
Milan Loves Seoul is more than a fashion event—it is a bridge of ideas, values, and collaborations.
