BTS Final Members Begin Their Military Service Enlistment: Heartwarming Sendoff for RM and V
BTS final members are finally enlisting for their mandatory military service.
On December 11, the first two final members of BTS, RM and V, began their military service enlistment process. The two BTS members quietly entered the Nonsan Army Recruit Training Center in South Chungcheong Province at around 1.30 PM KST with 6 vehicles escorting the superstars.
While this day might be a heartbreaking moment for most BTS fans, the sendoff for both RM and V was nothing but heartwarming. It became a rare moment in BTS chapter 2, where all members gathered in full OT7 formation.
According to the reports, all BTS members had been coordinating their schedules to gather on RM and V’s military service enlistment day. This shows how strong the loyalty and bonds between the BTS members.
Support from Close Friends for BTS Members RM and V

Wooga Squad
Global Korean actor Park Seo Joon recently shared a heartwarming photo featuring the Wooga Squad on Instagram. This group of celebrity friends includes Park Seo Joon, V, Park Hyung Sik, Peakboy, and Choi Woo Shik. The squad members smiled in the photo as they patted V’s new buzz cut in affectionately.
Additionally, Park Seo Joon put a sweet and simple caption on the photo: “Makdaengyi.” It refers to the youngest member of the group. Then, he added “return safely”, showing their close friendship and support for BTS V as he starts a new journey.
JNKYRD & Balming Tiger’s San Yawn
Along with the Wooga Squad, the close friends of BTS RM and artists JNKYRD & Balming Tiger’s San Yawn shared photos of BTS RM.
San Yawn posted a photo of RM on his Instagram and expressed “Thank you.” Then, he uploaded a group photo on his Instagram story.
Meanwhile, JNKYRD also posted a photo of RM on his military service enlistment day while tagging the BTS leader.
BTS V’s School Friends
Finally, devoted ARMYs would know that BTS V also has a group of school friends who have been supporting him all these years. These school friends also went to support him on his enlistment day.
Genius Support from ARMY for BTS V on Military Service Enlistment Day
Previously, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that only military personnel and family would be attending the military service enlistment day of the final BTS members. This was to prevent excessive crowding due to the nature of BTS as global superstar.
RM also once voiced the same request so they would not disturb the other enlisting soldiers.

And being the biggest Kpop fandom ever, ARMY has been showing great example and understanding. The enlistment day of the first batch of BTS final members were quiet and orderly. Nobody showed up on the training center, just as they did before.
However, it did not stop this greatest fandom to show their support for their favorite BTS members. Although they may not be able to show up in person, ARMY found a genius way to send visible support for BTS, especially V.
On the day of the enlistment, ARMY sent large bus advertisements at the entrance of the training center.
Two busses were visible on the enlistment day: a red bus saying “Happy V Day” and a white bus that says “Always Taehyung only”. Both busses include wishes for the BTS members to return safely.
BTS Members Jungkook and Jimin Bid Farewell to ARMY
The mandatory military service of the final BTS members will be completed in 2 days as RM-V and Jimin-Jungkook would be enlisting in different training centers.
Following the enlistment of RM and V, Jimin and Jungkook will be enlisting today, December 12. The two BTS maknaes are joining their eldest hyung, Jin, who is now an instructor at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
A day before their enlistment, Jimin and Jungkook went live on Weverse. Holding back their emotions, the two BTS maknaes bid their temporary farewell to ARMY in the most heartwarming ways.

So, what do you feel about this military service enlistment of the final BTS members? While it may be heartbreaking not to see these genius superstars for a while, this milestone is BTS’s ways to keep their promise for a grand comeback in 2025.
Jin is on track to return from his military service in June next year, closely followed by j-hope, who’s due to finish in October. Meanwhile, Suga’s discharge is scheduled for June 2025, followed by the remaining BTS final members.
This timeline ensures that by June 2025, all BTS members will have completed their military commitments and resumed their civilian lives.
