Good Data Corporation recently revealed the most buzzworthy Korean drama and actor rankings in the 1st week of May 2023, with JTBC’s Doctor Cha returned as the hot topic on the list. See the list most buzzworthy Korean dramas and drama actors of the week below.
1st Week of May 2023: DOCTOR CHA Sweeps Top Spots on Most Buzzworthy Korean Drama and Actor Rankings
JTBC’s Doctor Cha returned to the number one spot on most buzzworthy drama rankings this week after SBS Dr. Romantic 3 topped the list on its first week on air in 4th week of April.
Every episode of the medical drama has captivated the viewers with its plot and cast. And after half of its run, Doctor Cha has earned the fifth-highest ratings in JTBC history, following The World of the Married, Reborn Rich, SKY Castle, and Itaewon Class.
Doctor Cha cast members still dominated the most buzzworthy drama actors list. Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Byung Chul, and Min Woo Hyuk remained in the first, second, and sixth places—meanwhile, Myung Se Bin was down to the seventh place.
Furthermore, two new Korean dramas entered the drama list; tvN Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 and KBS My Perfect Stanger at number three and six, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the drama actor list, Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 cast, Lee Dong Wook and Kim So Yeon took fourth and eighth place, respectively.
