“Hellbound” is the new joint project of director Yeon Sang Ho, known for his all-time hit movie “Train to Busan.” He co-wrote the script with writer Choi Gyu Seok, who wrote the first season of “Hellbound.”

“Hellbound” is a live adaptation of the popular webtoon of the same name. In Season 1, the series depicted a terrifying world during a supernatural phenomenon in which mysterious creatures emerged from hell. These creatures visited humans without warning. They told them they would face severe punishment and be condemned to hell. As a result, this created great public fear and chaos.
In the upcoming Season 2, the plot will focus on the sudden resurrection of Jung Jin Su (Kim Sung Cheol) and Park Jeong Ja (Kim Shin Rok). They then become involved with a lawyer named Min Hye-jin and the new powers of the New Truth Society and Arrowheads.
The gripping first teaser video reveals a shocking truth. The first leader of the New Truth Society, Jung Jin Su, claimed that the chaos in the world was a message from God. However, unbeknownst to anyone, he was bound for hell 20 years ago.
The teaser shows Jung Jin Su resurrected in a harrowing condition after being tortured in flame. Moreover, it shows that he has to deal with the creatures from hell again. It also hints that the world is turning more chaotic due to the ongoing death sentences, raising many questions about what will happen next.
