Storyline
The upcoming historical Korean drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” is set in the Joseon Dynasty period. The story follows an enslaved person named Goo Deok Yi, who was born to enslaved parents who suffered harsh treatment from her master.
One day, she gets the chance to escape from her abusive master. In her escape, she does everything to survive. Unfortunately, a tragic event happened; she fakes her identity, including her name, status, and husband, assuming the persona of a noblewoman named Lady Ok Tae Young.
