The Plot
“The Scandal of Chunhwa” is set in a fictional country called Dongbangguk. It follows the journey of a Grand Princess Hwa Ri, who is looking for her future husband. She meets a handsome young man who is a wealthy merchant. However, little does she know, he is hiding a secret.

She leaves the palace to meet her potential suitors and the person who painted her face as the female lead in a series of erotic chunhwa paintings. She then finds herself caught between a handsome Choi Hwan, a successful merchant but a playboy, and the most eligible bachelor, Lee Jang Won.
