“Tastefully Yours” follows the romance story between chaebol heir Han Beom Woo and headstrong chef Mo Yeon Joo, who have different backgrounds and philosophies about food.
Han Beom Woo is a second-generation chaebol who runs a luxury restaurant in Seoul and is the heir to Korea’s top food company. He and his brother have clashed in a fierce succession battle since childhood.
To defeat his brother, he obsessively develops recipes. While searching for the pivotal recipe that will determine his fate, he meets Mo Yeon Joo.
Mo Yeon Joo is a born chef with a unique personality and is obsessed with flavors. She runs Jungjae, a small hidden gem in a remote location, serving dishes with irresistible, tantalizing flavors.
Captivated by Yeon Joo’s food, Beom Woo tries to get her recipe and plans to take over her restaurant. When he offers to buy it, Yeon Joo counters by asking him to work there while she considers his proposal. Beom Woo agrees with her request. When they run the restaurant together, their feelings grow.
Jin Myung Sook and Shin Choon Seung help them in running the business. Jin Myung Sook is a skilled chef with 15 years of experience at a Korean gukbap (rice soup) restaurant. Meanwhile, Shin Choon Seung is the heir to a gukbap establishment. Reasons to Watch “Tastefully Yours”
“Tastefully Yours” is Go Min Si’s first romantic comedy drama series since her debut in 2016.
“I’m delighted to greet everyone with my first rom-com this spring. When I received the “Tastefully Yours” script last year—it felt like a birthday present—I knew I had to be part of it. Mo Yeon Joo character captivated me immediately: a chef with unwavering principles, fierce determination, and a heart that values sincerity above all. She’s stubborn, a little quirky, yet profoundly kind. That mix made her charming and irresistible to me.”
Go Min Si trained in the Jeonju dialect for her role.
“I took lessons before filming to prepare. I especially focused on perfecting the Jeonju dialect—constantly refining the tone and nuances to get it right.”
She also mastered knife skills for the role.
“I began practicing my knife skills early on and even learned cooking techniques firsthand from chefs during filming.”
This drama marks Kang Ha Neul’s comeback in the romantic comedy since “When the Camellia Blooms” in 2019.
Kang Ha Neul likened his character to bracken and the drama to bibimbap.
“If I were to describe Han Beom Woo as a food, he’d be bracken—delicious on its own, but even better when mixed into dishes like bibimbap. And if “Tastefully Yours” were bibimbap, then my fellow actors would be the other essential ingredients that complete the flavor.”
This upcoming drama also marks Kim Shin Rok’s second time as the leading actress in a romantic comedy following her appearance in “Undercover High School.”

The first and second episodes of the drama premiered at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival, held from April 30 to May 9, 2025. The new Korean drama “Tastefully Yours” will officially premiere on ENA, Genie TV, and Netflix on May 12, 2025, at 10 PM (KST).
