Originally, Ok Taecyeon did not want to become a singer. He auditioned for JYP Entertainment in New York City after his sister persuaded him. In fact, they were both headed to NYC on his 17th birthday and auditioned to be a model. That is because he thought he couldn’t sing or dance.

Well, this one is not fun actually. One of the most shocking facts about Ok Taecyeon was when he received a letter written in blood. After his enlistment in the military on September 4, 2017, Ok Taecyeon was praised by the government. Therefore, the Korean government gave him an honorary promotion to a ‘Sergeant’.
