Actress Park Eun Bin confirmed to play in a new Korean drama entitled “Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo” on Netflix.

On October 26th, ASTORY, the production company of “Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo,” announced that actress Park Eun Bin will star in the upcoming project with drama and law genres.
In the upcoming drama, “The King’s Affection,” actress Park Eun Bin will play a unique character of a 27-year-old woman, Woo Young Woo, who has Asperger syndrome. Woo Young Woo is a lawyer with a high IQ of 164, who graduated as a top student from the prestigious Seoul National University.
Because of her high intelligence and impressive photographic memory, she works in a big law firm. However, although she has a high IQ, she has a low EQ due to her difficulties in social interactions.
As a result, other people see her as “weird” and “loner,” and she became the target of bullying at school. In addition, the upcoming drama will focus on the growth of Woo Young Woo as a lawyer and a person.
“Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo” Director, Writer, and Cast
Director Yoo In Shik will helm the upcoming drama. He is the man behind the popular Korean dramas Dr. Romantic (Season 1 & Season 2) and Vagabond. In addition, he will work together with writer Moon Ji Won, who penned “The Witness.”
Other cast members that have confirmed joining Park Eun Bin in this upcoming drama are Kang Tae Oh, Joo Hyun Young, and Kang Ki Young.
Kang Tae Oh will take the role of Lee Joon Ho, Woo Young Woo’s colleague at the law firm. Due to his charming personality, he becomes a popular man. He works together with Woo Young Woo to solve tough cases.
Joo Hyun Young will play the role of Dong Geurami, Woo Young Woo’s friend and life coach.
In addition, Kang Ki Young will take the role of Jung Myeong Seok, Woo Young Woo’s mentor and a senior lawyer in the firm.
The new Korean drama series of Park Eun Bin “Weird Lawyer, Woo Young Woo” will officially start filming in November, while it will air sometime in the first half of 2022. The drama will be available on the global streaming platform, Netflix, and SBS.
Anticipation arises as to how Park Eun Bi will show Asperger’s syndrome through her acting in the upcoming drama. Park Eun Bin is currently starring in KBS’s The King’s Affection as a male crown prince.
