Park Min Young and Lee Yi Kyung were offered to lead the new webtoon-based drama Marry My Husband.

On February 8, OSEN news outlet reported, in response to the reports of Park Min Young’s comeback drama, a representative from the artist’s agency, Hook Entertainment, stated,

“Park Min-young received the script for the ‘Marry My Husband’ Korean drama, and she is currently reviewing it.”

Park Min Young Courted to Star in New Drama MARRY MY HUSBAND — Park Min Young is courted to play the female lead role, Kang Ji Won.

Park Min-young to possibly be cast in the new drama Marry My Husband (literal title), an adaptation of a web novel with the same title by Sung So Jak. It centers on a woman who is terminally ill and sees her husband having an affair with her best friend. After her husband killed her, she suddenly woke up ten years ago before they were married. Then, she plots an act of vengeance with the help of Yoo Ji Hyuk, her manager at work.

Park Min Young received an offer to play the female lead character, Kang Ji Won. Meanwhile, Lee Yi Kyung is still reviewing for the role of Park Min Hwa, Kang Ji Won’s husband. After the cast lineup is complete, the filming will reportedly start in the first half of this year.

If she accepts the offer, it will be her comeback project after her rom-com Korean drama Love in Contract alongside Gong Kyung Pyo and Ki Jae Young in 2022.
