On March 10, “The Judge from Hell” actress Park Shin Hye reportedly will star in the new tvN comedy-drama “Miss Undercover Boss.” In addition, the upcoming tvN series is scheduled to broadcast in the first half of 2026.
In response to these reports, SALT Entertainment, the actress’s agency, conveyed,
“She has received an offer to star in “Miss Undercover Boss” and is currently reviewing it.”

“Miss Undercover Boss” is a crime comedy with the background of the late 1990s, when the IMF crisis hit. The series follows 35-year-old Hong Geum Bo, a workaholic financial investigator. Her appearance is naturally youthful as if she were in her early 20s. To investigate a suspicious cash flow, she infiltrates a securities firm as a rookie employee, posing as a recent high school graduate handling various entry-level tasks.

If Park Shin Hye accepts the offer, she will play the role of Hong Geum Bo, a cold and dedicated financial crimes investigator. She uses her youthful appearance to go undercover at a securities company to catch financial criminals.

Director Park Sun Ho, who directed “Business Proposal” and “Brewing Love,” will direct this upcoming comedy-drama. Meanwhile, Moon Hyung Kyung, who wrote“Into the Ring,” will pen the drama’s script. Additionally, Celltrion Entertainment Co., Ltd will produce the series.

After two years of hiatus, actress Park Shin Hye returned to the small screen and starred in two popular K-dramas in 2024, “Doctor Slump” and “The Judge from Hell.” Her stunning performance in “The Judge from Hell” earned her Director’s Award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.
In December 2024, the actress received a role offer for “Chair Time,” but her final decision remains unconfirmed. If she accepts the role in “Chair Time,” “Miss Undercover Boss” will be her new second anticipated drama.
